Obsessed all things Elvis & Cilla!

Elvis became famous when my parents were young so I have always been exposed to Elvis’s music and who he was but never really knew much about his story. That is, until a very good friend and business colleague asked me to take a detour on our way to our corporate convention in Nashville. Mind you, Memphis was 3 hours out of the way! She pulled on my heartstrings, stating that if we didn’t go when we were so close, we would never go! So off to Memphis we went and what an amazing trip it was. We first visited Sun Studios in downtown Memphis. The entire trip was like being in a time capsule as everything was preserved as it was back in the day! The records, the recording studio, even the Pepsi machine... you know I love my Pepsi, well Diet Pepsi that is! It was at Sun Studio🌞 where I learned specific, very interesting details about the “Million Dollar Quartet“ Which I quickly became obsessed with!

As we entered Graceland, which was stunningly decorated just as our parents chose to decorate back in the late 60’s early 70’s Seeing Lisa Marie’s crib, baby stroller and toys were very similar to the ones I grew up with. There was so much to see and each room opened up more questions. After some research, I need to go back and take a closer look. I just can’t get enough! I am excited to share here interesting things that I learn along the way. I will also be sharing pictures So stay tuned if you to want to learn everything there is to know about this beautiful iconic couple with a story like no other but then again, I think their relationship identifies with the struggles of most relationships, just on a different level. At the end of the day two people in love have ups and downs no matter what! I think that’s what fascinates me the most!
